Approach: In order to achieve the objective, the following steps were undertaken:

2. Data Ingestion: Fivetran, a cloud-based data ingestion tool, was utilized to import the collected data into Google BigQuery's landing area. This ensured that all relevant data was readily accessible for further processing and analysis.

3. Data Transformation: The data was transformed using DBT, a tool that leverages SQL and Python/Jinja. This step facilitated the cleaning and organization of the data, preparing it for subsequent analysis.

4. Workflow Management: Google's managed service, Apache Airflow (Google Composer), was employed to orchestrate and execute tasks in a sequential manner.

Streamlining Sales Insights and Improving Customer Relationship Management

At Strategic Soft LLC, we are passionate about helping organizations harness the power of their data to make informed strategic decisions. We recently had the opportunity to work with a client who was struggling to integrate their sales data from Quick Book and FishBowl to a central data warehouse in BigQuery. The client needed to streamline their sales data and make it easily accessible to their marketing team, but they were facing several challenges in doing so.

Our team of skilled and experienced software engineers stepped in to help. We developed a utility in .net to sync Quick Book data on a daily basis to the data warehouse, and we also developed a script in python to export and import Fishbowl data to BigQuery. We then cleaned and transformed this data in BigQuery using SQL Stored Procedure, ensuring that the data was accurate, consistent, and easily accessible.

To help the client better visualize their sales data, we built paginated reports and Power BI Dashboards in Power BI. We also developed a power automate flow to generate an Excel file used for strategic decisions from the sales data. And to make it even easier for the client to access and analyze their data, we built a custom CRM in React JS on top of the centralized data warehouse. In the CRM, we showed client listings grouped in classes, as well as yearly, monthly, YTD, and MTD sales data in various ways.

Our solution helped the client's marketing team define and identify their goals, monitor their performance, and make data-driven decisions.
